Window of Thanks

I hope everyone enjoyed the Holiday weekend!  The weather has been so beautiful lately and I've been out enjoying it with my hubby!  I am excited though as I get to have some "play dates" over the next couple of days and I'm ready for that!!  (got some yummy goodies coming too!!) So maybe you can see some things!

OK...so as you can tell, I REALLY love the Concord Crush ribbon!!LOL! (see post below!)  Today on SCS, there was a color challenge to use new In Colors:  Peach Parfait, Concord Crush & Pear Pizzazz.  I also went simple with this as I like this style lately with the "busy" in my life.  Yesterday on SCS there was this really cool CAS challenge in the form of a sketch, so I went with that theme for my card today.

**Quick Window tutorial:  If you've ever made a window like this, then you probably know the really easy way to line up the squares!  Just make a template by punching out 4 squares, then attach the four squares evenly how you want on your card stock layer. (I like to use the dotto adhesive for this because it's easy to reposition.)  Then take your square punch, punch out right over top of your attached squares and you will have punched out a perfectly even "window" for your card front like this one.  I've used some dimensionals to add a bit of depth to mine.**
The gold embossed images from the yummy Day of Gratitude stamp set in the Holiday Mini Catalog were punched out with a smaller square punch and attached to bottom layer of card stock.

Supplies:
stamps:  Day of Gratitude (Holiday Mini Catalog)
card stock:  Concord Crush, Peach Parfait, Pear Pizzazz, Confetti Cream
Ink:  Peach Parfait, VersaMark, River Rock (sponging)
Other:  gold EP, 1 3/8" square punch, 1 1/4" square punch, Concord Crush 1/2" Stitched-Poly ribbon, dimensionals, dotto adhesive, glue dots
