Hello friends!! Hope you all had a fabulous weekend, I sure enjoyed spending some time with my family and just enjoyed being together with each other. It was nice and relaxing...but it's certainly that time of year to put up the decorations, shopping and getting ready for Christmas!! UGH!!! (the most wonderful time of the year, right?!!) I do enjoy the season, but I also enjoy the quiet time that follows it!! LOL!
And since today is like the BUSIEST on-line shopping day of the year, I thought I'd help you out with some of your purchases:
I forgot to mention with my post below that Melanie from *Wink*Wink Ink is offering a brilliant Winter Bundle!! She's offering ALL of these images together for one low price...including the BRAND NEW "Just For You" stamp set!! So please CLICK HERE to purchase the bundle!! Talk about fast and easy Christmas cards to send out!! (these images can be printed out already pre-colored for your convenience!)
Also...don't forget that Whimsy Stamps is still celebrating their 2 year Anniversary with you this month!! There are only 2 days left of the celebration and they're offering FREE shipping for the next two days!
So please be sure to take advantage of that!
Now I couldn't leave you without some sort of creation now could I?! Although this is something of small in stature, I think it can make a big statement this time of year, don't you?!!
I love making tags as they are so fun to add to a package, make an ornament with, add to a gift bag, put inside of something...there are just too many fun uses for tags, so I've got one for you today to share.
The challenge over at Squigglefly today is to make a tag! I've used this really cute Avid Reader image from Squigglefly of course and made a tag/bookmark of sorts with it. I love to read and find that these little tags are great and serve as a multi-purpose when giving as a gift! As you can use it for a tag (especially for a book worm type of person on your gift list), they can continue using this tag as a bookmark to save their reading spot! So this is why I've made this using not necessarily Christmas type colors! :)
Here are a couple of other challenges to add this to:
Charisma Cardz - One for the Girls
Paper Cutz - Anything Goes
Lollipop Crafts - reading
P.S. The end of this month is actually my blog anniversary and I've been doing it since Nov. 2007...so that's a whopping THREE YEARS for this blog!! Can you believe that?!
I am so very close to that 100k mark on my blog as well...wouldn't it be wonderful to get to that point for my blogaversary?!! Well, I do plan on having (a late) blog candy special to all of you special people that make blogging so much fun for me!! So please be sure to stay tuned in for details coming soon!!
Thanks for your support and friendship!!HUGS
