Anything BUT the Usual today at Squigglefly!!

**CLICK HERE to see my Stamp Something Blog Hop Celebration Post and enter for a prize!**

Hello friends! It's another Monday here in May and I feel like the month is just flying by here!
I think it's flying by because of all the busy things going on right now, but I think I'll be ready for school to be out and to take a little vacation myself after this!! LOL!
Again, I apologize for not being around to visit your blogs like I regularly do and hope to return to "normal" next month...whatever that means!! LOL!!

On with our Monday and another brand new challenge at Squigglefly!!
I've asked everyone to create "anything BUT the usual" this week and I hope you can join us!
This means that YOU need to create something different than you would normally make. For instance, if you make cards all the time, then create something different. Or if you normally use Copics to color with, then use something else to color with, etc. You get the idea....just do something DIFFERENT...but have FUN!! :)
Be sure to check out what the rest of the DT has come up!!  **There's also some new freebies available on the challenge blog because we have now reached over 400 followers!! YAY!!  So be sure to check them out...they are A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E!!!**
Here's what I have done for this week's challenge:
This is really not my "normal style" creation.  I have a really hard time with CAS style creations as I don't think I do a very good job with them...I keep wanting to add things to it and that's not the point!! LOL!
I've also just used a sentiment for the focal of my card which I don't normally do...I usually use images that need to be colored in and I use my Copics for that...no Copics here!!  I also don't normally make the regular rectangle A-2 sized cards anymore like I used to either...so that was a bit different!
I've used this gorgeous Love is Like a Butterfly sentiment by Jess Holland...one of my fave sentiments!
The butterflies are from a die cut and I've taken one of the hearts left from the border punch and added to my sentiment panel along with a rhinestone.  The "thinking of you" sentiment is actually a rubber stamp from Stampin' Up! that I've punched out with my word window punch.

Here are some other challenges that go with this card:
Digital Tuesday - thinking of you sentiment
Totally Gorjuss - Not Square
One Stitch at a Time - anything goes

I think this is a good challenge to have because it gets you out of your comfort zone a bit and to even try something new for change.  So we can't wait to see what everyone comes up with for this challenge! :)  If you don't have any Squigglefly images, you can always catch a FREEBIE!
Thanks for checking in with me and I'll be back in a bit with another sneak peek for you!!
