A House Mouse Reminder!!!

Hello friends!!  Happy Monday morning to you!!

So sorry it's been so long since my last post, but I've been really busy with trying to get some scrap-booking done for my son's Eagle Scout ceremony.  I don't think me being busy will stop anytime soon as my son is also going to be graduating in a few months and I've got things to do for that as well!!  WHEW!!

I'm very proud of my son and the progress he has made in his life up to this point!  He's also reached his 18th birthday!  Seems like it all happens at once...where did the time go?!!

Today, I'd like to remind all of you House Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge loving people that today marks the midway point for our current challenge which is a lovely photo inspiration from our sister meece Lorraine:

Oh so yummy!!  I think I'd like to pick one of those out to enjoy with my coffee this morning!!

So here's what I came up for this challenge:

I've always wanted to find a fun cupcake card template and make a card!  The problem is, I couldn't really find a cupcake template that I liked or was large enough to satisfy me....so I just came up with this on my own!  I folded the brown card stock in half and hand-cut the rounded corners to make the base of the cupcake.  This way it opens up.  I drew on a piece of paper the "topping" of the cupcake until I was satisfied with it and then traced it on the colored card stock to add to the top of my cupcake card.  I punched out some "sprinkles" for the top and added some pink rhinestones.

I've used this darling House Mouse stamp called Make a Wish and added some pink rhinestone on that cupcake as well.  I love how he's blowing out the candle!! :)  I was so excited because I went shopping this last week and found a great sale on some House Mouse stamps...so I couldn't resist and picked up a couple!  I also found a package of really cute cupcake brads like the one I've got on my card here.
