Four Frames Birthday

Hello friends!!!  Whew!  I think I wore myself out this weekend messing around with this blog techno stuff! LOL!  Sorry if I filled your reader with over 30 posts, but that was me combining the blogs together so everyone can see me here (old and new followers)  I appreciate your patience while I've got it sorted out.
All of my creative samples/ideas will be posted here on a regular basis...so please follow along if you'd like!

*Please note:  If you are looking for all of the things I have available for sell, then please check out my Stamped Smiles Shop!  You can follow me over there for updates on various items I will have up for sell including my finished created items/cards, rubber stamps and crafting supplies from my own "stash" as well as updates on when and where I will be setting up craft booths with things for sell.  So please follow me over there if you'd like updates on those things.*

I also had a brief interruption in my sleep from 2-3:30 AM as I saw my son off flying over to Washington D.C.!  It will be quite an adventure for him and I know he'll have a great time with some good people! :)
So without further chit chat....here's my simple birthday card for you today:
I am really diggin' these simple sketch designs!!  There are ways to dress them up so as not to look so plain and I'm getting much better at making CAS as I keep attempting them...having fun too! :)

I've used my Four Frames stamp set (which I can't believe I hadn't even assembled yet!!) and stamped it in the gorgeous new In-Color:  Midnight Muse.  I don't know what possessed me to come up with this color combo, but I really like how it turned out!  I have the colors:  Midnight Muse, Summer Starfruit & Cherry Cobbler.  I think that substituting Cherry Cobbler for Raspberry Ripple would work as well.  I punched out the stamped frame with my Decorative Label Punch and then punched another one out from Cherry Cobbler card stock.

I've also used my fave stamp set lately called Itty Bitty Banners and ran through the Big Shot with the Bitty Banners Framelits Die.  I also punched out a Summer Starfruit circle to layer underneath that.  I then attached all the layers together and popped it up with dimensionals.

The Summer Starfruit background and Midnight Muse strip were embossed with the Perfect Polka Dots and the Square Lattice embossing folders.  I've also punched a white strip to layer underneath the Midnight Muse strip with the Scallop Edge Border Punch.  I then finished it off with some yummy Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding Ribbon, a white Neutrals Button tied up with some White Baker's Twine.

Here are some challenges I wanted to enter this card in:
Try Stampin' On Tuesday - Sketch
Crafts 4 Eternity - Brilliant Birthdays
The Paper Players - Tic Tac Toe (Birthday, Dry Embossing, Ribbon)

So I hope you enjoyed my creation for you today!!  I do have some things here to remind you about before I go today:
(1) July Pretty Papers Blog Candy - The Blog Candy has ended and the winner will be announced tomorrow along with a brand new August Blog Candy...so stay tuned in!!! :)

(2)  Today is the LAST chance to order the Reason to Smile stamp set!

(3)  Tomorrow also starts the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog ordering!  - So many awesome items..I will be sure to give you a link to it so you can check it all out!!

THANKS SO MUCH FOR STOPPING BY TODAY!!
HUGS & SMILES! :)
