Hello friends!! Welcome to the weekend! I hope that you are enjoying yours! It is finally raining outside and we need it really bad over this way...so I actually hope it rains all day and night!! LOL!
Today is just a simple card I wanted to share with you as sometimes you just need to have a few thank you cards on hand and I always seem to run out very quickly! So you may be seeing lots more of them come your way too! :) I'm also trying to get a start on my Fall making designs and it's also my fave time of the year! I am anxiously waiting my lovely package of goodies to arrive from Stampin' Up! So I hope to be able to shower you with lots of fun samples using the products from the Holiday Catalog soon! YAY!
Here's my card using the Day of Gratitude stamp set from Stampin' Up!
I just love this stamp set!! I didn't even use my fave image from it either which is the big flourish design! I've also had these matching retired papers from Stampin' Up! lurking in my stash to use as well. I'm always needing to use up my older paper stash (aren't you?!) and I just love easy sketches that can help me out with that! :)
I ran a piece of the paper through my Big Shot Machine using the Top Note Bigz die along with a strip of the same paper pack along the right side. I punched out a border with my Scallop Edge Border Punch in the Early Espresso color. The leaves and acorn were easily cut out by hand and arranged as accents on my card. I just finished it off with a banner and button. I used linen thread for the bow.
