Hello friends and happy Friday to you!!
I have a fun little project to share with you today and some news...
Today I've made a project for Raise the Bar Challenge because I'm a
GUEST BAR-TENDER!
(Thanks so much for having me Joni!)
So for the challenge this week, they would like you to figure out:
"Which Witch is Which?"
Now how cute is that?! I just love Halloween and couldn't resist playing along with it!
Here's the creation that I came up with:
This is a stand-up wooden design that is about 2 1/2" wide by about 12" tall. What I've done is taken a wooden tulip that I had in my stash and turned it up-side-down and painted it these colors and attached it to a wooden platform to make it look like a broom. I've used this really adorable Hazel digital stamp from Wee Stamps by Sylvia Zet. Isn't that little bat as sweet as can be?! I love his little fangs!! :)
Here's a little bit more close-up of the coloring details of the image. I've just glued her down to the platform and then used some dimensions to pop out the rest from the broom.
Here is the top of the broom on the handle where I've designed this circle sentiment on my computer and then layered it and attached it to the end. I've also added a fabric bat to the middle of the orange gingham ribbon bow and sparkles on the stars.
And here I've tried to capture some close-up details of the glitter on the bottom of the platform for the broom. I've used my chunky black glitter and added some star rhinestones as well as punch out a black star from thick black glitter card stock and attached it to the broom as well.
I've actually got another four of these painted up and I just need to decorate them. I plan on selling these "brooms" at my craft show tomorrow! So this is why I've been so quiet lately as I've been such a busy bee in my craft room. It looks like I'll be up late tonight trying to get things ready to go. I've still got pricing to do on some items and packing and getting my tables and things ready...so wish me luck!! :)
I hope you will play along in the Raise the Bar Challenge this week with us!
We would LOVE to see "which WITCH is which" for you!! Be sure to check out the other witches...from the creations of the design team of course!! LOL!!
Here are some other challenges that I'd like to enter this project for:
Stamptacular Sunday - "BOO-tacular"
Craft Your Passion - Which Witch is Which? (LOL!)
Creatalicious - Halloween
Digi Galore - Halloween
Fashionista - anything goes
Bearly Mine - anything goes
Papertake Weekly - Fright Night
Fab 'n' Funky - Orange, black and choice
Crafting for all Seasons - Spooky
Paper Play - "Wooden it be Nice"
So that will be all for me until next week. I've got to run right back to my stamp table and get my butt in gear here or I'll be running out of time! Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope to be able to get a little bit of a breather next week until my next craft show in November anyway.
Until then, stay crafting my friends!! :)
