Hello friends.
It is with a heavy heart that I type up this post.
The sad news came to me yesterday when I saw an e-mail from The Digi Garden design team group when one of my teammates said they had seen on the home page of The Digi Garden store that
Jacqui McNeil owner and operator of The Digi Garden had passed away.
This had come as a bit of shock because I had just went back and forth with her via email a few days prior to seeing this news. She had been ill for a while due to complications with her heart. (and other issues)
She did pass away with her family present.
The short time that I've known Jacqui through crafting was enough for me to know what a very lovely person she was and I know that she will be missed by many in the crafty world.
If you have purchased or know someone who has purchased an order from her store, there is some information on the home page of the store to contact her sister about your order if you haven't received anything as of yet. Please pass along this information to anyone you think may need to know.

In honor of Jacqui today, I would like to post this creation I made.
This is an image I had colored in and set aside to finish creating with it later, I was inspired to get put together today for a dedication in her memory...
As you can see from this darling digital image, she was quite the artist! Many people enjoyed these darling images and I know she brought joy with her art and it was her dream (according to her sister) that she was able to do this. Of course since I have a good collection of her images, I will still continue to enjoy coloring them in and using them. :)
I wanted to share this creation with some challenges as well:

Oh, this is such sad news Vicki. It sounds like Jacqui was a very special lady and will be missed by everyone. I agree that she did bring much joy with her art so at least she did achieve her dream.
The card you have made in her memory is so beautiful, I can see the love you put into it making it.

I am so saddened to hear of Jacqui's passing. May she rest in the arms of an angel. Your post was heartfelt and beautiful as is your card. Love what you did with the heart she is holding. xx

oh my gosh, Vicki, I am so shocked and sad to hear this news..... she created such precious little images, but more importantly seemed to be such a very kind person. I can only imagine the sorrow so many people are feeling right now, most especially her family. I will be saying lots of prayers.

I could feel your loss thru your post and let me send you my thoughts and prayers on this loss of your friend. It is amazing how thru our blogs we make such wonderful connections and sad when they end like this but so blessed to have known these wonderful and talented people.
