Hello again my friends!!
I think I have been having too much fun!! :) So I thought I'd push my luck a little more this time!
As most of you know that have been following my blog for a while know just how much I adore those darling Elisabeth Bell images...pretty much ANY of them! LOL!
I had been a guest designer for The Digi Bells DT before and they're currently having another call, so I thought I'd pull out some of my EB digis that I haven't used as of yet and color one in.
I found this particular sweet image especially perfect for this time of year!! :)
LOL!! This is the darling "On Cupid's Cloud" from Elisabeth Bell's Digital Collection.
I just LOVE that bare butt sitting on the cloud heart!! :)
This is just a close-up of some of the details of the image...you can see how stunning the details are in it!
So here's the full photo of the card I made for the guest DT call. Lynda has made up another lovely sketch to follow and I really loved how this one turned out with it! (Check out THIS POST to see the details of the call and take a look at the sketch!) I wanted it to look as romantic as possible because I thought the theme was needed to go with this image. (I have colored the dangling keys with my gold glitter pen as well as some of the touches on the arrow pouch with the roses in it and some of the details in the fishing rod.) After I was finished putting it together, I just couldn't stop without adding my two favorite elements which are flowers and ribbon! :)
I've used my Big Shot quite a bit on this one: The Rose Red panel behind the image was embossed, I used my Big Shot with the Bitty Banners for my sentiment and I've also used it to die cut the hearts at the top with the fun Fashionable Hearts Embosslits die.
I've also used my "Travel Journal" wheel for the background wording.
(I think my favorite section of the Stampin' Up! catalog is the "elements" section!)
The pretty Vintage style papers I've used are from K & Company and of course I've used some Prima flowers along with some gold shimmer ribbon and a tiny gold key attached.
Here's a closer view of that:
Can you see that tiny gold key charm? I thought it matched the image so well I had to use it! LOL!
So I think there may be some challenges for this out there:
Daring Cardmakers - Embossability
Totally Paper Crafts - embossing
Crafty Creations - "Take Two!" - 2 of same element (gold dazzle corners)
Creative Inspirations - anything goes + optional flowers
Penny's Paper Crafty - embossing (wet or dry)
The Sisterhood of Crafters - hearts
Well now that I've filled your last couple of days up with posts, I'll just be back tomorrow with some more fun creations for you and some up-coming news!! :)
Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving me your love!! I really appreciate it!! HUGS
