So...as I continue on with my computer saga...I am switching back and forth between a couple of different browsers to get what I need to get done on them!! LOL!!
It is getting rather annoying too! But I'm here to share another creation with you and hopefully I'll be able to get around to visiting you all soon!
Today starts a brand new challenge over at
The Elphine House Australia Blog
We would like to see some paper doilies on your creations for this challenge!
I just love using doilies and they are a very inexpensive accent to add to your design!
So here's what I've come up with using paper doilies:
This really sweet image is called Ebony Christmas Snowflakes from The Elphine House Australia.
I think she looks perfect in blue tones!
As you can see, I've set the image panel on top of a couple of 4" round paper doilies for an elegant back drop for this fun winter image! I've also added some faux stitching around the outside portion of the dark blue card. I dusted the flowers with some shimmerz paint and added some spots of liquid pearls around the image for more "snow" effect.
I just hate that these cards show off so much better in person than on the photos in my blog. To bad I couldn't just be right next to you showing you...see the shimmer? You like? LOL!

What a sweet card! There is something very eye-catching about designs using different shades of the same color, especially when combined with white. Yours is one such design and it is beautifully done. Lovely coloring!
