Hearts and Ribbon...Oh My! Plus a WINNER!!!

Hello friends!  

So far so good this week, but I've decided to just take things one day at a time at this point!  Curve balls happen, you just have to brace yourself the best you can and SWING! :) KWIM?

Anyway, hopefully you are all enjoying your week so far and I'm here to share with you another lovely challenge over at the

Elphine House Challenge Blog

This time they would like to see your "Hearts & Ribbon"...yummy!

So pull out any of your Elisabeth Bell stamps and play along! :)

Here's what I came up with for my creation:

I absolutely adore this image!  This one from The Elphine House Australia is called Kathy Bride and Little Kitty.  I thought this time of year would be perfect to try and pull off a romantic creation with lots of reds, pinks and whites/creams.  Of course the photo doesn't do this justice as it looks better in person for sure!

I've used some shimmerz paint for her dress and veil on her head.  I've also added some liquid pearls to the red roses on her gown and bouquet   As you can see I've got a heart-shaped paper doily behind the image as well as punching out a lace heart border along each side of the pink panel.  I've also got a tiny pink heart with a rhinestone on it next to the "love" sentiment.  And you can probably see all of my yummy ribbons.  I've got two layers of ribbons at the bottom and an extra little bow at the top corner.  There is an antique brad in the middle of the bow at the bottom.  Hope you like it! :)
