Good evening my friends!!!
I am over the moon thrilled to say that I'm still
Yay! I never really left anyway, but just in case you thought I did..I'm back! :)
Today brings up a brand new challenge over at the
Elphine House Challenge Blog!
This time we would like to see your "Let's Hear it for the Boys!" (card for a boy) creations.
I never seem to have enough of these on hand, so I enjoyed this challenge! Here's my take:
I took out some papers from my stash that I thought would make for some nice masculine style colors/design and worked around that theme. I've used this darling Tommy Splashing Puddles from The Elphine House for my card. (He can be found on page 3 of the store.)
I've kept him simple and sweet with little embellishment. I've used a ribbon slider for my double-stitched ribbon and then I've added a button for the center of it. I thought that the distressing details make a good masculine feel to it as well. I found this really cute sketch to make a regular A-2 sized design.
I just knew that Tommy needed some nice bright yellow boots to splash in! LOL!
Here are some challenges that I found for my card:
Tuesday Morning Sketches - CUTE sketch!
Crafty Catz - BINGO! (Buttons, Dies or Punches, Glitter)
The ABC Challenge - 'H' for Happy Birthday
Card Makin' Mamas - Birthday
My Time to Craft - Men Only!
Craft Your Passion - All That Glitters (check out his puddle!)
Love to Create - All That Glitters
Creative Card Crew - Birthday
Inky Chicks - Mother's Day or Birthday
Papertake Weekly - Buttons & Bling
So I hope that you will be stopping by the Elphine House challenge blog to join in with us! :)
**Don't forget that you MUST use an Elisabeth Bell stamp to enter!** - there are SO MANY of them and they are just DARLING...so the question is WHY wouldn't you use one?!!
Hope you all have a wonderful evening. I'm going to be making a chicken casserole for dinner and hopefully stay as warm as I can tonight because it's so cold out! Stay in and stamp my friends! :)
