Hello friends! Yay! We've made it to Friday! :)
And just think we are pushing on closer to warmer Spring-like weather too!
Today I've made a couple of creations for ya...I've got a "blast from the past"!
Maybe you remember if you're an "old timer" SU! lover like me those gorgeous Enchante papers that had a bit of a "french flair" to them? Mixed with one of my favorite purple colors of Perfect Plum, I think I had purchased extra than what I'd ever possibly use and I obviously still have some in my stash...so I thought this would be a great year for me to pull out what I have and... well... USE IT! :)
(Yep, sort of a New Year resolution for me...I hope anyway!)
Actually, the ONLY thing retired on this card (that you can't purchase right now from Stampin' Up!) would be those Enchante papers that I've used at the top...isn't it so pretty?
I had a mission in mind when creating cards today that I was going to use up some of the HUGE stack of papers that I have in my stash...found a very luscious color challenge and sketch to play with and I've got myself something going here! :)
FYI: The paper daisy that I've used on my creation has been inked up with my Very Vanilla ink pad so that it didn't look so stark white against the Very Vanilla colors that I've used. That is the cool thing about those paper daisies...you can make them ANY color you want! :) I may have to come up with a tutorial on doing some really cool things with those! So be watching for that!

And then I made another creation that I thought was a bit more CAS than this top one and I really liked how this turned out. Again, using those OLD Enchante papers....
I also of course used the same color combo too. I just fell in love with it and thought it to be such a soft and pretty color palette that's so pleasing to the eye.
Here, I've made another sympathy card and used the So Sorry stamp set for it. I've punched out a heart and stamped a pretty little flower image from the Tiny Tags set with Perfect Plum ink.
I also found a great sketch that helped me pull all of my elements together. The Enchante paper here was stamped on with the "so sorry" sentiment and punched out with my 2 1/2" circle punch.

What a yummy post! There is so much sweetness in here today! I had to smile because today's card is using the never seen Lovely Lilac,lol! I had PPlum in my hand as my dd's fave color is purple but ended up with the lilac :) too funny! Have a fabby weekend! xoxo

Vicki, You did it again and I'm so glad you are sticking to your NY resolution!!! Happy dance for you!!! I'm still sticking to mine... I can't remember the blast from the past and I'm one of those old timers but you did an awesome job love the simple embossing (that something I never think to do) the paper piecing a simple flower and a darling card. Your second one you are so right it is soft and very pretty and makes a perfect anything card just depends what sentiment you use and the sympathy one is wonderful. Have a super week.
