Hello friends and happy "HUMP DAY"! Middle of the week time!
Today I wanted to share a quick creation with you so that I wouldn't be late turning this one in for a challenge that I wanted to get done before it ended.
As we all know, it's great to have some sympathy cards in your stash when you need them, so I'm going to try and do that this year along with throwing in a few ...I'll say it...Christmas cards!! :)
So...wish me luck this year!!
Here's my "sympathy in blues"...
I really love how this one turned out and I thought it would work out great even for sending to a male.
I saw that on the Tuesday Morning Sketches they were being sponsored by DRS Designs, so I just decided to use this pretty floral stamp I had from them and also play along with the DRS Designs challenge which is to make a sympathy card. I had to do it soon before my time ran out! :)
I've taken the floral image and stamped it on the main panel, colored it in and then in the background of my blue base card, you can see the same image stamped repeatedly with blue ink. I thought the wood-grain embossing folder would like nice next to the image as well.
